INTRODUCTION

This booklet is given to you compliments of the Regional Security Office. While it is not classified, it should be safeguarded just as you would your favorite piece of jewelry or valuable papers.

The booklet has been serialized and is being issued to you as the head of your household. For the purpose of accounting for this publication it is required that it be returned to the Regional Security Office when you depart post.

You are receiving this booklet for two specific purposes. The first is to acquaint you with your responsibilities in times of emergency; the second is to Inform you of what the Mission can do to assist you in an emergency situation.

It is urged that you read the contents of this booklet carefully, share it with the adult members of your household, and then keep it in a handy accessible location. It will serve as a guide to your actions should an emergency arise.
